Saksham- Programme for Strengthening Climate Change Resilience of Farming Communities
OBJECTIVES
- 1000 households will have increased yield of food crops by at least 25% with indigenised, integrated and climate-change resilient agriculture practices (relating to irrigation, nutrient and pest management systems).
- 800 households will have food and nutrition self-reliance by reviving and strengthening traditional farming and by increasing the use of forest-based food sources.
- 300 tribal households will have increased livelihood and food options with the help of Forest Rights Act (FRA).

Jabalpur Diocesan Social Service Society (JDSSS) is a grass root level society journeying with the rural poor for their self-reliance and dignity in the society. JDSSS is an NGO and the social work wing of the Diocese of Jabalpur in Madhya Pradesh. It was established in the year 1979 to carry out the social works in the diocese. The society was registered on 19th November, 1993 under the “Society Registration Act 1973. JDSSS's work is concentrated in the fields of Education, Health and Community Development which we believe are inter-related fields to make a sustainable and impactful difference in the beneficiary population.
