Saksham- Programme for Strengthening Climate Change Resilience of Farming Communities

OBJECTIVES

  1. 1000 households will have increased yield of food crops by at least 25% with indigenised, integrated and climate-change resilient agriculture practices (relating to irrigation, nutrient and pest management systems).
  2. 800 households will have food and nutrition self-reliance by reviving and strengthening traditional farming and by increasing the use of forest-based food sources.
  3. 300 tribal households will have increased livelihood and food options with the help of Forest Rights Act (FRA).
