Children's Parliament

In the designated project area, 78 Children's Parliaments have been established, encompassing 50 villages and spanning both primary and secondary school levels. These Parliaments boast a total membership of 2501, comprising 1270 boys and 1231 girls. The formation of these Parliaments aims to cultivate awareness among students regarding parliamentary procedures and to instill in them the capacity to assess current situations and act responsibly. Through the Children's Parliament, children are being educated on its significance, objectives, functions, the role of its cabinet, cabinet selection, and discussions on equality. The ultimate goal is to encourage children to openly discuss matters pertaining to their schools, communities, families, health, and education, while also actively participating in social initiatives. Notably, children's regular attendance in schools has increased, and they have taken initiative in activities such as cleanliness drives in various locations like schools, community centers, and streets through rallies organized by the Children's Parliament.
